BIRTHDAY BLUES

We have finally picked our film name. We decided on Birthday Blues. The feeling of birthday depression, or the birthday blues, refers to feeling sad, apathetic, or disinterested in celebrating or thinking about your birthday. This applies to the films story and describes what our character Berkley is going through. She received bad news on her birthday and therefore feels the birthday blues. The birthday blues are a psychological feeling and are very real for many people. They are actually considered a type of mental health condition that may come and go for some people. After researching this, we realized they Birthday Blues is a perfect name for our film, Berkley is experiencing sadness after receiving bad news and may experience the Birthday Blues afterward. Playing around with alliteration was also an idea that we had and this is a perfect and catchy name for a film.
